Cut Shop
Job location is in Grunthal, Manitoba. Please do not apply for the job if you do not live locally and cannot commute to our shop.
Hand crafted timbers
When you join our cut shop team, your journey begins by learning the time-honoured craft of traditional joinery. We’ll teach you how to create hand-cut joinery, the same techniques that have been trusted for generations.
From there, you’ll work with responsibly sourced timbers, carefully measuring and cutting each piece according to the plans created by our design team.
There’s something deeply satisfying about shaping joinery from a solid timber. It’s a process of gradually refining, until you’re finishing the details with hand chisels and mallets. Each step brings the timber closer to its final form, and every cut has a purpose.
