Hand finished timbers
When you join our finishing shop, your journey begins with learning the care and attention it takes to bring each timber to life. We’ll show you how to properly sand, prepare, and handle every piece so it’s ready for its final finish.
From there, you’ll work through the full finishing process, applying stains and sealers that highlight the natural character of the wood while protecting it for years to come. Every timber that passes through your hands is prepared with purpose, following detailed specifications from our team.
There’s a real sense of pride in this stage of the work. It’s where raw timbers are transformed, where texture is smoothed, colour is brought out, and each piece is carefully packaged and readied for its next step. With every pass, every coat, and every detail, you’re helping ensure the final product arrives looking its absolute best.
The Job

Sand, Stain and finish timbers

Package up timbers and prep for delivery and install

Arrange timbers in your workspace using a small forklift

Operate handheld planers, sanders, and brushes
Qualifications
This is an on-your-feet-all-day job. Timber experience is not necessary.
